We built the guide we always wished existed — honest, Egyptian, and built for the night.
— Why we built this
We started Vibe because every Friday night in Cairo felt like a guessing game.
You'd call five people to find out who was playing where. You'd screenshot a Stories post, forward it to the group chat, and still end up somewhere you didn't want to be. Egypt has one of the most electric nightlife scenes in the region — Cairo alone runs hundreds of rooms on any given weekend — but nothing pulled it together in a way that felt useful. Or honest. Or Egyptian. So we built it ourselves. Vibe is not a ticketing platform with a nightlife section. It is not a review app. It is a directory — built for the people who live here, who visit, and who organise. We cover real clubs, real prices, real programs, and real vibes. If something changes, we update it. If a venue closes, we say so. That's the whole idea.

“Egypt deserves a nightlife guide that treats it like the world-class scene it actually is.”
Mena spent years watching Cairo's scene explode — new venues every season, international headliners starting to route through Egypt, beach clubs in Sahel that rival anywhere in Europe — with no single resource that could keep up. He started Vibe in 2024 as a simple spreadsheet shared in a group chat. Within three months it had 40,000 views and a waiting list of venues wanting to be listed.
Today Vibe covers 340+ venues across 12 Egyptian cities, with a team of editors, photographers, and night owls who collectively don't go to bed before sunrise on a Friday.
Every price on Vibe is the real price. No fake "from" figures, no undisclosed minimums buried in the small print. If a venue charges 300 EGP door and 8,000 EGP table minimum, we say exactly that. You deserve to know what you're walking into.
We write in Egyptian terms, for Egyptian nights. The guide doesn't translate Egypt for outsiders — it works for the locals first and lets visitors catch up. Sahel dates, Ramadan schedules, Eid openings: all in. The Cairo locals' knowledge, made searchable.
Nobody plans their night on a laptop. Vibe is designed for the phone, in a dark room, with one hand. Fast, readable, zero friction between you and the answer you need. If a page takes more than two taps to find what you want, we rebuild it.
